Articles

Below are links to a selection of stories I've done over the past few years. Most are from the Boulder Daily Camera, where I was a staff writer focusing on science and the environment from 2003-2007. I've grouped them by subject and in no particular order, though the newest tend to be listed first. A handful are cross-listed. My production in 2007-2008 was limited by a Ted Scripps Fellowship in Environmental Journalism at the University of Colorado and work on my book, From Jars to the Stars. "Randomalia," the last of those listed, includes humor and heartbreak from my experiences doing general-assignment reporting. The point here being, although I'm a science and environment writer, I'm a writer.

I link to outside sources where possible, but have reformatted many Camera and other newspaper stories because they're not otherwise accessible.
